Leadership Motto:

“When we inspire one student, we transform a future. When we empower a school, we transform a community.”

My name is Audrey Washington and I am honored to serve as an Assistant Principal at Clemente Martinez Elementary and am excited to partner with our students, families, and staff to ensure every child thrives. Education has been my passion for more than 20 years, and I've been privileged to serve in various school leadership positions that have allowed me to support students, empower teachers, and partner with families to create thriving school communities.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Mississippi State University, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Mississippi, and an Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership & Supervision from Delta State University. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to building meaningful relationships, supporting teachers, and creating a positive school culture where every student feels valued, challenged, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. My husband and I are proud parents of one son, who is a senior at Louisiana State University. I look forward to partnering with our Wolf Pack as we learn, grow, and achieve great things together!

My name is Brooke Taylor-Johnson, and it is with great honor and gratitude that I introduce myself as a new assistant principal of Clemente Martinez Future 2 School. Education has long been a source of joy and purpose in my life, and I firmly believe that every child can learn and flourish within a positive, nurturing, and high-quality academic environment.

My career in education began in Nacogdoches, Texas, as a third-grade math teacher in 2016. That same year, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (EC–6) from Stephen F. Austin State University. Three years later, I completed a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from SFASU. I then continued my educational journey at Texas Southern University, pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Administration.

I am committed to serving our students, families, teachers, and stakeholders by fulfilling my responsibilities as an instructional leader. Together, we will ensure a safe learning environment, provide high-quality instruction, and support every learner each day.

I look forward to partnering with you as we work toward continued success for all students.
